The driving kinship that everyone at Square Cat Vinyl shares is local music. There are so many ultra talented local musicians around Indianapolis, and we've gotten the chance to meet so many more since this all started. We just have to take the opportunity to recognize them when we can. So, every month we're going to have a featured local artist that we think you absolutely need to check out (and no, these posts won't be sponsored).
This month, we're going to be a little narcissistic. Behind the knowledgable and bright eyed Square Cat Vinyl staff are some remarkable talents. This month's Featured Artist(s) are a few of the musicians that make Square Cat Vinyl their second (or third, or fourth) home.
Americana. Folk. Bluegrass. Indie.

Wolf and the Wereboys formed from the random draw of the 2015 Indianapolis Random Band Challenge. They wrote three original songs and blew the collective minds of the audience, with no remorse. Victory that evening secured a spot in the 2016 Virginia Avenue Folk Festival and fulfilled the promise of The Wolf to front his first boy band.
Check them out again kicking off this year's Random Band Challenge show!
