Square Cat's songwriter's open mic returns with a seasonal format for 2026. We'll be hosting four open mics throughout the year. Our first for 2026 will be taking place in February. Each open mic will have a theme that we will encourage participants to partake in with their music, but it is not a requirement for participation.
February's Monthly Theme: Love, Relationships, Heartbreak
Open Mic Policies
- Sign ups start at 5:30 PM. First come first serve and must be done in person. We have a maximum of 25 spots dedicated for performers.
- Each participant will be able to perform one song with the possibility of more if all spots are not filled.
- All music performed must be original music. No covers allowed.
- No more than two people allowed per performance. Bands and larger groups are not allowed.
- Basic instruments and backing tracks are allowed. Guitars, keyboards, and other simple setup instruments are allowed. Nothing that takes more than a minute or two to setup will be allowed.
Open Mic Raffle - We will be raffling off a Square Cat gift card to one of our performers, and we'll also be raffling off some other items for performers and attendees. The raffle winners will be announced at the end of the evening, and you must be present to obtain your winning item.
