Indianapolis' premier goblin-core psych rock band return with their 4th LP. Moon Goons' "Reptilian Galactic" drops via Romanus Records on 10/30. The Goons will be debuting the full album live at Square Cat Vinyl during the 10th anniversary week.
For our 10th anniversary, we're hosting three very special nights of live music. Each night will feature artists and bands with members that are either current or former staff members at Square Cat. We've had the pleasure of some fantastic musicians on our staff over the years, and what better way to celebrate our 10th anniversary then to feature some of the talent within our own Square Cat family.
Each of the three nights have the option to purchase a single event ticket for $15 or you can purchase the 3 pack for a discounted price of $30 which will give you admission to all three nights of these celebratory nights of music.
For night two, it's a special dual album release show featuring Moon Goons (SCV staff member Jacob Kozlowski), Hyper Tensions, Gremlin, and Golden Moses (SCV staff alum Jon Rogers).
Moon Goons
Moon Goons is an Indianapolis psych-prog band blending the genres to create their own brand of “goblin-prog”. Since forming in 2018, the Goons have had the pleasure of sliming down at hundreds of shows across the Midwest and beyond. Moon Goons have had the distinct honor of sharing the stage with national psych-rock acts: Frankie and the Witch Fingers, King Buffalo, Holy Wave, and many more.

Hyper Tensions
Hyper Tensions are a midwest rock and roll band laced with equal parts punk and psychedelia.
Gremlin
Garage punk rock from Cincinnati.

Golden Moses
Golden Moses is the live DJ moniker of Jon Rogers, Indianapolis-based record collector, sound selector, and curator extraordinaire. His live sets are typically vinyl-only affairs, levitating between outer space and the dance floor, including techno, house, disco, jazz-funk, and library music deep cuts.
