Ticket information to be announced in September
The Random Band Challenge returns in 2025 at Square Cat. It's a competition show with bands formed randomly and tasked with writing original music in a couple month's time. Here are the ground rules:
- Submissions open August 17 @ 7 PM - Click Here to Submit: https://forms.gle/
6mi5c8iETvp1Wyyh7 - Accepting 50 submissions (First come first serve)
- 10 bands selected by random drawing September 5 at Square Cat
- Two months of prep time to perform three original songs or 15 minutes live at Square Cat November 7
- Judging based on the following categories: stage presence, originality, song quality, specialty song execution, and band name
- Audience vote counts along with weighted judges' votes
